Stella (ALPHA) [formerly Alpha Venture DAO (ALPHA)] is a decentralized finance (DeFi) platform that aims to bring together users and developers in a single ecosystem with a focus on cross-chain interoperability. Stella was created by a group of blockchain and finance professionals who have previously worked at well-known tech and finance companies. The project was launched by Tascha Punyaneramitdee, who has experience in blockchain investment and product management at Band Protocol, and Nipun Pitimanaaree, a Senior Software Engineer.
The ALPHA token serves multiple purposes within the Stella ecosystem. Firstly, it is used as a governance token, allowing token holders to vote on various proposals related to the development and direction of the platform. This aligns the incentives of the community and the platform as it grows and evolves.ALPHA can also be used for staking, enabling token holders to earn a portion of the platform's transaction fees, thereby incentivizing participation and enhancing the platform's security.
