What is CryptoZoon (ZOON) used for?

CryptoZoon is a play-to-earn blockchain-based gaming ecosystem where players collect and battle creatures known as ZOANs. The primary gameplay involves player-versus-environment (PvE) battles, where players use their ZOANs to fight against various foes, including a race of antagonists known as Yaki. Winning these battles rewards players with ZOON tokens and experience points (EXP). ZOANs, central to the game, are categorized into different rarity tiers and associated with specific tribes, affecting their battle capabilities.

The ZOON token serves multiple purposes within the CryptoZoon ecosystem. It acts as the main reward token for the battle system and is used for purchasing and hatching eggs that contain ZOANs. Players can acquire ZOANs either by hatching them from eggs purchased on the CryptoZoon platform or buying them from a peer-to-peer marketplace. The rarity of a ZOAN determines its fighting frequency and the rate at which it earns EXP and ZOON from battles.

Additionally, CryptoZoon features a weekly event called the Yaki boss battle. In this event, players collaborate to defeat a powerful boss, with the potential to earn significant rewards, including a share of a 100 BNB prize.
