IMGNAI is the primary utility token of the ImgnAI ecosystem, designed to facilitate a variety of functions within its growing suite of consumer AI products. The IMGNAI token will increasingly be used to unlock premium features such as HD/4K resolution, upscaling, NSFW models, etc., access new products, and mint user generations directly as Non-Fungible Tokens (NFTs). Furthermore, to manage the token supply, tokens spent on premium services and NFT tooling will be burned, effectively reducing the total supply of IMGNAI over time.
The IMGNAI token is employed for several key purposes within the ImgnAI platform. It serves as a means to decentralise governance, allowing token holders, particularly those staking IMGNAI, to participate in governance and voting processes within the ImgnAI Decentralised Autonomous Organisation (DAO). This approach is aimed at transitioning ImgnAI towards true decentralisation. Additionally, the token provides access to ImgnAI's beta programme for holders of 100,000 or more IMGNAI. Participants in this programme can test unreleased models and features, contributing to the development of new image models and future products.
