Lendefi Finance is an undercollateralized Lending Protocol built on the Binance Smart Chain, it started in December 2020 and the governance token LDFI was minted on the 20th of January 2021.
The Lendefi Protocol was originally developed on the Ethereum network. However, it has since moved to BSC. It facilitates leveraged trading through secured lending and cuts the middleman out of lending through trustless transaction. Supported assets can be added and removed via Lendefi’s decentralized governance mechanism (“DAO”). The base currency for lending and borrowing is BUSD (Paxos), which undergoes regular audits and is subject to regulatory compliance.
