NAOS Finance is a decentralized platform that serves as a bridge connecting conventional financial systems with digital currencies. By utilizing blockchain technology, it fosters a financial ecosystem that supports lending activities and the development of financial markets, with a particular emphasis on real-world assets.
NAOS Finance enhances yield opportunities and engages participants through several strategic token utilities, emulating Curve Finance's approach by incentivizing long-term stakeholders through a Boost Pool. By locking NAOS tokens for 3, 12, 24, or 48 months, users can amplify their yields by up to 2.5x. These locked tokens convert to veNAOS, granting holders governance rights, thereby allowing them to shape the protocol's evolution, including new features, upgrades, borrower onboarding, loan conditions, and partnership strategies. Moreover, the NAOS ecosystem is set to expand with additional utilities, such as service fee reductions for lenders holding veNAOS against a standard 0.5% withdrawal fee and borrower staking mechanisms. The latter requires borrowers to stake NAOS tokens to raise their borrowing caps, creating a direct correlation between the loan ceiling and staked amounts. Furthermore, to preserve auditor independence and dissuade unethical practices, borrower-staked tokens fund auditor rewards rather than facilitating bribes. If auditor availability exceeds borrowing requests, auditors must stake NAOS tokens themselves, ensuring a balanced, merit-based selection process. These collective measures, planned for gradual implementation, underline NAOS's commitment to a participatory, secure, and mutually beneficial financial ecosystem.
