NASDEX is a decentralised exchange (DEX) that facilitates the on-chain trading of Asian stocks. It obviates the need for multiple centralised trading accounts by allowing users to manage both equity and crypto positions through a single platform, simply by connecting their wallets. Stocks are tokenised using collateralised debt positions, providing both flexibility and security. Moreover, NASDEX integrates DeFi mechanics to offer additional opportunities for yield enhancement, such as yield farming, liquidity provision, and trading fee rebates.
The primary utility of NSDX, the native token of NASDEX, is to enable holders to partake in the profits of the DEX. Various mechanisms, including buy-and-distribute, buy-and-burn, or direct profit sharing, will be implemented for profit distribution, with the specific approach determined through community voting via the DAO. NSDX also functions as collateral for the minting of tokenised stocks and empowers holders with governance rights, such as voting on new stock listings on the exchange.
