Yield Guild Games (YGG) is a decentralized autonomous organization (DAO) that enables players to earn yield in blockchain-based games and virtual worlds.
Founded by Gabby Dizon and Beryl Li, YGG was created in order to bring liquidity and expertise to the world of productive NFTs within blockchain gaming.
YGG invests in NFTs and other in-game assets and rents them out to players who use them to generate income in the games they play.
YGG members, known as "scholars," can earn YGG tokens by staking them or by participating in the guild's governance process. The YGG token is used to vote on proposals for the guild's future investments and initiatives. YGG has partnered with various blockchain-based games and virtual worlds, including Axie Infinity, The Sandbox, and Zed Run, among others.
YGG's mission is to create a more inclusive and equitable gaming economy by empowering players from around the world to earn a living through play-to-earn games.
The YGG token is the native token of Yield Guild Games, it is an ERC-20 token and can be used for various purposes within the Yield Guild Games ecosystem, including staking, voting on proposals, and participating in the guild's governance process.
