Gari Network (GARI) is a crypto utility token associated with the Chingari App, which is India’s fastest-growing short-form video app. The GARI token exists to incentivize content creators to produce genuine content while keeping viewers engaged with transparent tipping features, exclusive content, and direct participation in platform operations.
The GARI token is used as an in-app currency and gives users governance rights to decide about the platform’s progress via voting. Users can stake GARI to vote and get rewarded. The GARI token enables short-form video creators on the Chingari App to monetize their content on the blockchain.
The original founders of the Chingari App are Sumit Ghosh and Biswatma Nayak, Indian programmers based out of Bangalore, India. The project’s co-founders are Deepak Salvi, Biswatma Nayak, and Aditya Kothari. Sumit Ghosh is the founder, chairman, and CEO of the Gari Network.
